Two dozen of the world’s best rallycross stars and most talented future prospects will compete at this weekend’s Red Bull Global Rallycross Phoenix. The Saturday and Sunday doubleheader at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park will serve as the first and second rounds of the 2016 season for both Supercar and GRC Lites drivers.
An 11-car Supercar field will be joined by one of the largest fields in GRC Lites history, as 13 drivers comprise this weekend’s starting grid. Sweden’s Oliver Eriksson will return to the class to defend his 2015 title from a deep field including three-time race winner Alex Keyes, all-time leading Lites point scorer Alejandro Fernandez, and seven drivers making their respective debuts in the class.
