Supercar Lites was the new show of talent from NMK Sluggish City, Thomas Bryntesson. Bryntesson was fastest in all the qualifying rounds and was in the lead in the semifinals when the red flag was after Evjen’s roll. Bryntesson was as icy even in the restart of the semifinals and the finals as he made short work of their opponents. Behind Bryntesson, Tobias Brink once again back on the podium and Brink summarized the day with a smile.
“We were quickest in the morning’s test and noted all the time best times during the day. We could not quite reach Thomas but a podium is always good”, says Brink for his second consecutive podium finish.
For some of the pre-tipped favorites in Supercar Lites class was the day is not the success hoped for drivers. Simon Olofsson had to throw the towel in with technical problems at the semifinals after a start popping in the third qualifying round. It was a disappointment for Olofsson, who now must clench a fist and look forward to next round in Strangnas.
